"Knee Replacement"

About: Solihull Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

I had a knee replacement carried out on 29 June by the surgeon and his team under an epidural anaesthetic. They were excellent - keeping me informed and reassurred throughout.

I was then transferred to Ward 15 for four days and the nurses and staff here were superb and a credit to the hospital and the NHS.

I don't know if you can say that you actually enjoy having an operation like this but I was made to feel as comfortable and cared for as I could be, throughout.
