"I received excellent antenatal and postnatal care..."

What I liked

The care I was given over an emotionally difficult 2-month stay was outstanding from the antenatal ward, to the labour ward and finally the postnatal ward. I felt that I was in the best hands at all times and can not thank enough the team of excellent midwives, obstetricians, anaesthetists, and theatre staff who ensured my physical wellbeing and the safe delivery of my son.

What could be improved

Although my treatment was not affected, it was obvious that the midwives were under a lot of pressure due to low staffing levels.

Anything else?

As I had a long stay, I got to know a couple of the housekeeping and catering staff. They brightened up my day with their sunny attitudes.
