On the frid after.. me texting updates also concerns of my wife's mental state to her forensic cpn..she was still left until frid but my wife lost control of her mental health. I had to ring a. e also Prestwich it's self for advice all weekend it took for my wife to re stabilize....surely she should not of been left without meds antipsychotic..when they know my wife's history when they knew I had concerns about changing antipsychotic medication anyway..but no discussion with me.

Thank you for raising your concern and I am very sorry to hear about this situation and fully understand how upsetting and worrying this must have been for you.

The Forensic Community Team's main role is to support patients, their family/carers to maintain their recovery in the community and by doing so they will undertake home visits as often as is required. This will be established collaboratively with the patient and their family.

Patients should never be left without their medication or support. We have a 24 hour service based at the Forensic Unit if family need to escalate their concerns.

If patients are struggling, or family members are concerned about any aspect of their mental health, they can get support via the following numbers:

GMMH out of hours helpline: 01204 390302 (for Bolton, Salford and Trafford localities) or 0161 922 3801 (for the city of Manchester)

Edenfield Centre: 0161 358 2060

Customer Care: 0800 587 4793

Best wishes,

Stephen Clarke, Service Manager (Forensic)
