About: Bedford Hospital South Wing / Dermatology

Initial referral took 19 weeks after being reassured we'd be seen (my daughter is 14) in 4 weeks due to nature of issue.

Administration within the department is lacking any rigor or empathy, many occasions we chase the hospital secretary for paperwork, latest appointment not even yielding blood test documentation in spite of 2 phone reminders to the secretary.

The dermatologist is a locum, no complaints about the medical capability but why Bedford is paying locum wages and not having permanent personnel concerns me as a tax payer.

Our experience so far is below poor, we're 3 months into the 6 month treatment and it feels like pulling teeth every step of the way.
