"Worst Dr I've ever had"

About: Clays Practice

I have moved into the area recently and due to my continued health issues brought a personal letter from my previous Dr. This was in regards to medication that had taken myself and previous Dr almost a year to get sorted. This practice totally disregards what we have done. They will not listen and want to change all the medication or just not give me certain tablets.

It's a constant battle to get repeat prescribes and to be honest when speaking to different Dr's they are sometimes just down right rude. At obe consultation I was told to 'sort it out yourself'. I was totally dumbstruck.

It seems there is no where else to sign up in my area. I would have to travel miles to see a Dr or get a prescription.

The first 3 prescriptions that were sent to them were never sent to the pharmacy requested. When making notes on presciptions for special requests they are ignored. Every prescription I have had from The Clays has not been put through to the pharmacy with medication requested meaning I needed to go to the surgery to try to get the medication left off.

Totally rubbish.

I went to see the Dr and because of the nature of my illnesses and hoe long I have had them I told the Dr what worked last time the problem occurred.

I Was treated like I was an idiot. That I couldn't possibly know what the problem was. Four Dr's later one finally listened to me and gave me the medication I needed. This sorted the problem straight away a month after I went for the problem. LISTEN TO YOUR PATIENTS.

The nurses are wonderful. There is one lady Dr that is really nice and doesn't make you feel like a burden and I have never had any problems with the reception staff.

I've never been so dissatisfied with a Dr's surgery before. What a shame.
