"High risk TIA/stroke meds & history ignored/..."

About: The Royal Liverpool University Hospital / Accident and emergency

Have been under Stroke unit inWhiston 9months. Both GP & stroke unit have continually assessed & adjusted meds to lower BP. On high & multi doses of meds reducing Bp successfully. On 21/5/18 had loss of vision, numbness in lower leg. Paramedics insisted a&e with my history. Informed by Triage nurse 'this is non emergency and GP could have dealt with this'

Staff did not inform my GP full facts of symptoms. Hospital now say I fainted. Once I had seen the doc sent to my GP I informed him of the episode and continued symptoms. He immediately referred me to the specialist medical team and I was contact & seen within 36 hours at Whiston. Liverpool abcd assessment try reading and imparting facts to people who want to prevent me having stroke but making vulnerable person worse unacceptable
