"A Night in A+E"

About: St Helier Hospital / Accident and emergency

I recently spent four hours in A+E over night before been seen during this time I was constantly getting sick and in terrible pain, I am in my sixties in the end up I lied down on toilet floor I felt so unwell, When I was finally seen I was given paracetamol which did nothing for pain and left in a chair. The next morning I saw a male nurse who have me morphine for pain which helped,I then got transferred to a ward, which I was evicted from it shortly afterwards. I went home and continued to get sick for another twelve hours. I attend St Helier regularly as an out patient as I have a lot of respect for them,But was saddened by the way I was treated and get no pleasure writing this review.I hope in future this does not happen to anyone else.

We're really sorry to hear about your experience with our A&E department, which we'll pass on to the senior management team. Thank you for letting us know.
