I would like to express my gratitude and delight at the treatment I recently received from the whole team in the Endoscopy Unit at the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy. From the moment I arrived in the Unit everyone was so friendly. Each introduced themselves with a big smile and explained what they would be doing and why, so I knew what to expect at every stage, which was reassuring. The wonderful care and attention continued into the procedure room, where everyone was again very considerate and I instantly felt at ease. In particular I would like to thank Dr Wilson, who is a lovely man with a kind, gentle approach. He talked me through what he was going to do in a very calm manner, which gave me a lot of confidence; and I felt I was in safe hands. I also need to mention the exceptionally kind, humorous and very efficient Anne, who was also instrumental in my complete lack of apprehension. In the recovery room the staff were very attentive (Craig's banter was excellent! ) So a few hours later I was on my way home, We truly are lucky to have this amazing world-class NHS.
"Heartfelt thank you to a superb team!"
