"Dignity and respect"

About: New Stobhill Hospital / Gynaecology Clinic

(as the patient),

Attended out patient gyn dept (Clinic F) today. Was met with a smile from receptionist, a clean and tidy waiting area and from the staff who popped in and out to collect their patients, a friendly and warm reception. I was taken through by consultant to interview room prior to my examination. Examination process was explained in full and reassurance throughout was given by consultant and band 5 staff nurse. I felt reassured and relaxed. My dignity was protected as much as possible by the use of a sarong.

Dear sunflower 3

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience via Care Opinion.

Attending clinic can be an anxious time and I am really pleased to hear that the gynaecology team in Clinic F managed to put you at ease and ensure you were supported and cared for throughout your visit. I will ensure your message is shared with the team and they will be delighted to receive this.

I hope you are keeping well at this time.

Best wishes

Pam
