About: Heartlands Hospital / Accident and emergency

I recently had a very frightening experience at home whereby I was not able to move due to a spinal problem.

I was brought to Heartlands A&E via ambulance (very impressed with the care I received from the Paramedics) and stayed the night on CDU ward. The ward was clean, calm and I felt at ease throughout the night.

Naturally I was extremely anxious and worried however the staff were very friendly, professional and every action taken was explained to me which naturally put me at ease. I was extremely impressed with every Consultant, Doctor, Nurse and HCA involved in my care!

I also had a trip to the MRI department - again staff very friendly and explained every step of what would happen during my scan.

Massive thanks to all! Keep up the good hard work!
