"Outstanding care"

About: Peterborough City Hospital / Accident and emergency

I attended A&E with symptoms of a serious condition. I was seen straight away by a triage nurse and a student, then very soon after was called by an ED doctor who thoroughly examined me. An orthopaedic doctor was called and came very quickly. The care I received in ED was outstanding, so caring ad so thorough. The HCAs, sisters and nurses were so happy and friendly and very efficient. They considered my dignity at all times. The doctors were very thorough and very efficient, quickly arranging an urgent MRI for that afternoon. I was admitted to the Orthopaedic ward and was given a very clean fresh room with big windows and an ensuite. The room was very comfortable and could not be faulted.

The ward staff were caring and attentive and I couldn't have asked for better care. The doctors were amazing and escalated my MRI results to a specialist hospital and they reviewed them overnight.

I give this hospital 10/10 and feel very lucky to have it in my locality.

Thank you to everyone in ED, MRI and Ward B5, Pharmacy and Housekeeping - you should be proud of the care you deliver.
