As a working person, I applied in person for access to online services and my medical records, so that I could have some control over my own medical situation.
This was done several MONTHS ago.
I was told the practice is short-staffed (this seems to be a permanent probelm), but I should hear from them within less than 4 weeks.
I am still waiting.......
Patients can't call them before 11am for general / administrative enquiries, and then it's almost impossible to speak to someone who can help with the enquiry!
When you do get hold of them, they mostly insist you need to attend the surgery in person as they can't do whatever on the phone!!!
The worst aspect of this practice is that the PRACTICE MANAGER won't hear complaints by phone NOR IN PERSON - they insist these are put iin writing! Another obstactle put in yoru way to dissuade you from bothering to try help them make the patient experience better....
Ghastly situation for people who work and need to hold down a job :-(
"Terrible access"
