I called 111 as I felt short of breath, had difficulty breathing and had chest pain so they decided it would be best to send an ambulance as I had already collapsed at work two days previously. They sent out three paramedics, Paul, Will and Malcolm and they were all brilliant. Professional, compassionate, understanding and helpful. I could not say a bad word about them. Even though I had difficulty breathing and was on the edge of hyperventilating, they kept me calm and made me feel at ease, especially Will who was brilliant for a first year student. I eventually went into A&E where I had further tests where everything turned out fine, happened to be a viral infection that caused reactions.
I just wanted to write this as I was extremely happy with the service I received from the South Western Ambulance team, as well as saying how impressed I was by Will because of how professional and knowledgeable he was for a first year student.
"Professional and knowledgeable paramedic student"
