"Delay in treatment and medication"

About: Northern General Hospital / Vascular surgery

Operation delayed due to nurse error, 2nd op delayed due to miscommunication. 3 days later planned op changed to one they could have done when first op was delayed. 5 wasted bed days. Now taking 6+ hours for medication no wonder there is a bed crisis in the NHS, too many wasted hours on mistakes and delays. This is very typical of this hospital, care is great but the delays are frustrating and badly let it down and the NHS.
