"On going nurse care"

About: Red and Green Practice

I have been having daily appointments at the surgery with the nurses since my wound opened up when my stitches were taken out after a minor procedure in late May 2018 and at the weekends at lymington the practice, which is a shame as the weekends used to be covered I was told by Hythe hospital. Staff cuts?? Winding down of local amenities?? You tell me

The care I have received has always been fantastic

All the staff I have had dealings with in the last few weeks have always been kind professional and patient and are a real credit to the surgery and the NHS

The only real problem before this week starting 9/7/18 was I couldn’t get an appointment booked a few days in advance but normally on the day and at fairly short notice and with the urgent care team which must be a strain on the u/c team but that’s just the way it’s structured and this has no reflection on the team or care I have received as I have always been treated very well but surely this is down to understaffing, cuts or maybe just a shortage of nurses country wide, I don’t know, I’m just a bricky

I must say though I couldn’t hold the staff in higher regard and glad I live in this area for the great care I have received

Can’t thank you enough

Cheers

Dermot

Thank you for your comments Dermot, we work hard to deliver a good local service, we like all of the NHS are experiencing extremely high demand for our services and appointments are always under demand, we are also working with our commissioners to progress with the Hythe Hospital re-development
