Hello to everyone,
May I just voice my experience regarding my recent admission and overall reatment plan.
I was admitted to stanmore for ongoing treatment for my mitrofanoff urinary diversion, caused by a nerve injury many years ago, due to my surgery I require ongoing treatment ,
My recent admission as always causes worries, but I should have left that emotion on the doorstep ! As I was treated with both respect and welcomed by all the staff who were aware I was many miles from home and therefore I was going to be alone,
Both my surgeons and junior drs and everyone put me at ease, my treatment plan was adhered to completely, I was never ever left in pain help when I required medication my care was carried out withiout any loss of my dignity in fact quite the reverse !
So may I say a big thank you to all on The Coleman unit, and ward 4 .
If I can just say to all who are treated at this superb hospital don’t be afraid your care will be second to none, you will be met with constant concern, for your your welfare ,
The nursing staff should be very proud of the nursing care they provide, along with the ancillary staff whom regularly encouraged me to eat and drink,
So please everyone just inform the nursing staff if you have concerns.
Regards to all.
Elizabeth Ferrario.
