"A&e nightmare 8"

About: Leicester Royal Infirmary / Accident and emergency

I was sent to the department after speaking to my gp 3 days post kidney op in significant pain questioning possible bleeding.

On arrival spoke to desk nurse and explained sitting in wheelchair extremely painful.

After 30 mins sent to assessment where nurse more interested in computer than actually examining me.

Only after bleeped urology did they decide to take basic observed and did not listen to me when told they were bad for my normal. Told needed blog test and scan sent back to waiting area where told now 6 to 7 hour wait.

Tried to explain again pain was bad, felt dizzy, very hot. Told to wait. 45 mins later called for blood test, by this point pain so bad all I wanted to do was lie down and go home. Again told several hour wait for scanning.

Discharged myself home as felt k would be better at home than in this particular department.

Shall not be visiting again, will go to nuneaton where treated with care, Compassion and respect.
