"Inappropriate way of appologizing for delay"

About: Barnet Hospital

I wS given a call a day before to reschedule appt in nuclear imaging department which I couldn 't change. Was asked to come for normal time. When I arrived I waited 20mns before my appointement before I asked about the reason of the delay to be answered by a lady nurse in a non sympathiac way that they don't know why the staff is late and that I just had to wait.

Until another gentleman came and gave me details of the delay.

I am annoyed as i am a cancer patient and it was stressfull having to arrange a day off and school run to arrive to the appointment on time to end up waiting for so long.we are always warned not to waste Nhs money but the staff is not. Not happy and stressed .

I am still herr waiting
