"Poor manners"

About: Clacton Hospital

I went into the minors unit after a car accident the day before, I had woken up the next day with my arm stiff and bruised and bruised chest where my seat belt had been.

I knew in myself I felt fine but wanted to get double checked so it’s on my medical records aswell.

Upon arrival getting checked in there was no smile, a few dirty looks and no interest at all.

Then once I was called in by the nurse she was huffing and puffing, rubbing her face... I’d told her what had happened she checked everything then asked where my bruising was on my arm, I said no visible but the muscle really hurts to move. She said ‘oh’ and huffed again... I shew her what part of my arm hurt, and she said ‘here?’ And pushed down hard on it! I winced and said yes! Once again huffing with no interest what so ever I felt so stupid even going in! But wanted to get checked over because I had been in shock and has only just started to hurt. My children were fine too and once again no interest...

I won’t ever be attending the Clacton minors unit again. I’ll quite happily take myself to the walk in centre up Colchester. Worst experience through the NHS. I didn’t want to go up anyway but my partner wanted me to be sure and I really wish I hadnt she made me feel awful.
