"All dealt with in under an hour"

About: Okehampton Medical Centre

Just sending a text to give some positive feedback about the fantastic service my 17 year old daughter received today from the NHS from Okehampton Medical centre.

We rung at 8:20 this morning using the automated service to book an appointment for as her glands were swollen in her throat. It suggested it was a minor ailment on the system and offered an appointment with the nurse. This we did and were offered an appointment for 8:45 this morning.

A quick drive to medical centre, signed in and seen by 8:55 by an excellent nurse who diagnosed Tonsillitis and prescribed Antibiotics.

Drive down to Lloyd’s pharmacy in Okehampton, for her prescription. They made it up immediately with very little wait and we were all completed by 9:15.

Well done NHS and associates in Okehampton start to finish under an hour.
