To whom it may concern,
I wanted to provide feedback regarding my wonderful experience with the Sunderland midwife and breastfeeding support teams.
I had my baby at Sunderland Royal Hospital in June 2018 and the support I received throughout my pregnancy from my community midwife, from all the midwives on the ward (particularly one member of staff) and then from the breastfeeding support team has been excellent.
I would particularly like to praise two members of staff in the feeding team, as without them I would not be successfully and happily breastfeeding my baby as I had always planned to. They were both so supportive, friendly and helpful - they even moved around appointments and went out of there way to help me during my first week at home with baby when I was struggling to breastfeed.
The breastfeeding support team has been vital to me successfully breastfeeding my son and in my opinion is a vital resource for the NHS and mums.
I cannot thank all of the above teams enough and wanted to share my positive experience.
Yours faithfully,
Alison
