"Wonderful Staff...all of you."

About: Pinderfields General Hospital / Accident and emergency

My partner became unconscious and collapsed, vomiting (not drug or drink related) her eyes rolled back in her head, of course I went into a panic.

From start to finish all of the staff were very professional and I cannot praise them enough. From the woman I spoke to on the 911 emergency line who helped calm me down and talk me through what I should be doing. The ambulance staff who again while taking care of my partner were reassuring me that things were under control. Thankfully my partner regained consciousness in the ambulance and things got better from then on.

Once at the hospital we were seen in a very short time. The Doctor, whose name I sadly do not remember and all the nursing staff were brilliant. You were all there when we needed you and I would like to thank you all.

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments regarding your recent experiences.

I cannot imagine how worried you must have been for your partner and I believe anyone in that situation would have panicked.

However, I am pleased to read that all of the staff that were involved in your partner's care provided you and your partner the reassurance that you needed.

I hope that your partner is recovering well.

I will pass on your lovely comments to the staff as they will be thrilled with your feedback.

Thank you again.

Kind regards

Clare Blackburn
