I contacted Dentaline at 08.30 Sunday morning as I had been in severe pain with worsening toothache for over 24hrs.
My own dentist was closed as out of hours.
Dentaline took details and made an appointment at Kent & Canterbury hospital dental unit for 10.20hrs. same morning.
On arrival the receptionist was polite and helpful. A Dental Nurse called me in 10mins before my appointment timeas I had arrived early.
I was seen by a Dentist who x-rayed my tooth and quickly diagnosed an abscess.
Was given a prescription for antibiotics and moderately strong painkillers.
A full explanation was given about the problem and clear instructions regarding taking the prescribed medication and to be followed up by my own dentist.
Both the Dentist and Nurse were excellent, friendly, professional and caring.
I am very thankful and happy with all the care I received from making the initial phone call to being seen.
