My daughter was delivered at QA July 1st. I had previously delivered in Winchester and was unsure about using QA but it is closer to home.
I was so impressed with the care received, the two midwives for the delivery were lovely and supportive but also gave me space to do things my way. I was kept informed of everything that was going on and really felt my wishes were heard. I used the birth pool which improved the experience for me.
After the birth we unfortunately had to stay in for a night. I was not keen to stay because with my first (at Winchester) I had felt really isolated and unsupported overnight. However at QA I had my own room and was regularly checked on and offered support. I saw many different midwives/support staff and don’t have a bad word to say about any of them.
If I have anymore children I wouldn’t think twice about going to QA.
"Really impressed with maternity services and care"
