"Sleep Clinic - Overnight Study"

About: Leicester General Hospital

Both the day and the night staff could not have been more informative, friendly, helpful and patient.

Instructions for parking in the car park need to be clearer - I was given the wrong information about how to get an overnight patient rate.

I think accurate information for patients doing an overnight study should be sent in advance.

Along with another two of the three patients on sleep study that night, I did not get a letter with written details of my appointment so I did not know ainwas supposed to confirm.

Luckily I was still able to have the appointment.

I usually receive appointments in writing; I have a very strong preference to revive communications by email and I don’t understand why this isn’t possible in this day and age.

I wish to emphasise how lovely the staff were; they are an absolute credit to the hospital.

Dear reviewer,

Thank you for your feedback.

If possible it would be helpful if you could email Linda Chesterton at linda.chesterton@uhl-tr.nhs.uk who will look into this for you and please include your suggestions as that would be really insightful. This will help us to improve the information patients receive.

We are pleased that staff were caring and supportive we have passed this on.

We wish you the very best.

Many thanks,
