I went in yesterday for the third time within a year, for day surgery with g.a. under the colorectal team.
The care and attention was as always, excellent, the anaesthetist even moved me up their list when she found out I had a bad headache which was so kind and considerate and I really appreciated it.
Even the guy who walked me to theatre was friendly and nice.
In Recovery I was looked after by a lovely guy, what a credit to you he is.
In Recovery in general the attention is better than in the two private hospitals I have been in for a NHS operation and a paid for operation.
I would always choose NHS, we are so lucky to have it.
Then on to the Day ward.
Again, caring nurses, can't fault them and they are often under a lot of pressure when busy. There are some people who will always complain, I witnessed rudeness to nurses in the Day ward from a relative around the bed of an elderly woman. There was bad language as well and none of it was necessary.
So
I have nothing but good to say about Croydon University Hospital. Well done and I hope others read my review and give praise to you.
You need a higher rating.
Thank you for your care.
"Looked after very well again"
