"Disgusting none treatment"

About: Sunderland Royal Hospital / Accident and emergency

Was disgusted at nurse not wanting to treat me as I had left my injury for a wk but she was quiet happy to send me to pallion a/e were I was found to have broken ribs and was given strong painkillers

Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback. I apologise if you are unhappy with the treatment you received. I am assuming that your presented to our Emergency Department? Our ED is for those with serious and life-threatening conditions so you may have been referred to the urgent care centre rather than have a long wait as the department does get very busy. Our urgent care centres have access to Xray and are able to treat broken bones. I am pleased that they were able to help you and give you some pain relief. However, if you would like to make a complaint, you can contact our Help and Advice Service.
