About: Robert Frew Medical Centre

I have had so many problems with this Drs surgery, and it should be avoided at all costs:

- It takes hours to get through to the receptionist to book an appointment.

- Appointments given are weeks away!

- Difficult to get an emergency reception.

- Drs are not sympathetic or knowledgeable. Dr at the surgery said I had an allergic reaction, when in reality I quite clearly had chicken pox - very dangerous for an adult and I had to stay in hospital.

- Reception staff are so rude and patronising.

- Constant miscommunication with repeat prescriptions. I have never received mine on time. Every month I have to chase the Dr to give it to me.

This surgery is so unprofessional and has caused me unnecessary stress. Having been a patient here for 10 years and now registering with a different surgery, I am so glad to never set foot in it again.

All patients are entitled to their opinion and where we feel that concerns are justified we will address them.

We cannot comment on your personal circumstances and consultations with doctors on this site. If you had a specific complaint regarding misdiagnosis then it would have been helpful to bring them to the attention of the practice at the time where we could have discussed this, rather than accuse doctors of being not knowledgeable. We hope that you find satisfaction with your new surgery.
