"lack of appointments"

About: Woodroyd Medical Practice

You receive a letter to say test results are back and you need to see G P.

for past 3 days been trying to get an appointment, no luck, this is both over the phone and visiting the surgery in person.

This causes unnecessary stress to a person who had suffered a brain injury,

I am sorry you have been experiencing issues. We do have limited appointments and understand getting appointments can be difficult. When a patient calls a note is put on your records to say you have had a failed attempt. We aim for patients to never call more than 3 times and once you call for the 3rd time as long as before 10.30am reception staff should offer you a phone triage appointment with the clinician on call to speak to you.

If this did not happen all I can do is apologise but should this ever happen again please let the surgery know and I will ensure no staff training is required.

Many thanks for your feedback.
