My sister and I care for our 87 year old mother who needs our help in accessing and attending medical services. My sister spoke to a receptionist at the to book an appointment with her GP on 14 June, She was told there was no need to book as the doctor had a "free" clinic on Thursday and Friday after 3: 00pm. My mother and I went to the surgery and asked when she could be seen. We were then told we had no appointment but we could be seen if there was a space. We waited one hour and 15 minutes. When I asked again, we were told the doctor was not in and we had no chance of being seen. At that point, I asked for access to the on-line system. We booked an appointment on-line for three weeks later. The day before said appointment, we got a phone call asking us to change it which we could not do. Basically, I feel like someone could die waiting to be seen by this practice
