I have used the Neurological Enablement Service at the Michael Carlisle Center. This service was very good and was a revelation for me. I just wish I had known about it earlier. The Neurological advisers should have a notice board or newsletter to inform people about this service.
Everyone at the service was very good and supportive. I have been ignored in the past but I was listened to here.
Unfortunately the centre is quite far from me and I cant travel on a bus. I had to get taxis. However once the advisors knew about this they arrange to visit me at home. The staff are quite young and they have very modern ideas. I find some older staff are a little set in their ways.
