I injured two of my fingers today as a result of a garden chair collapsing and trapping them. I was taken to minor injuries by some of my family. We were greeted warmly by reception staff and given some water as I felt faint and sick. The nursing staff were second to none, staff nurses name was Julie and the support worker was lovely but I can’t recall her name. They treated me promptly sent me for an X-ray which showed I had two fractures. The treatment I received was excellent and staff were also great with my grandchildren, giving the older 3 year old a book to play with while I was being treated. I felt both supported and kept informed. There was an air of efficiency and calm in the unit and all the nursing staff were so positive and relaxed and that helped me relax and cope with the procedures. Please pass on my thanks to the team!
