(as the patient),

if i ring to get an appointment then either the doctor i need to see is not there or u cant get an appointment with him. In my opinion dr boyle is a really good doctor.

Thank you for your response. The appointment system is one that we are always striving to get the right balance. Unfortunately it is not always possible to see the doctor of your choice, none of the gps are in the practice every day. Our practice is a training practice and doctors are involved in teaching students and junior doctors and also a variety of areas that all help bring knowledge to the surgery. We do have a large number of appointments available for on the day booking and also advance booking, if you cannot get the doctor of your choice we can usually offer you an appointment with another doctor. We are starting a virtual patient group by email where your views and ideas for change will be welcomed. if you would like to be part of it please contact me susanbreeze@nhs.net
