"Calming Mermide Centre"

About: Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske) / Breast surgery

Although I was very anxious after being recalled following a routine scan as soon as I arrived at the Mermaid Center this morning I began to feel calmer.

Everyone I met was welcoming, friendly and reassuring.

I felt I was in a safe place. The whole atmosphere was calm, quiet and relaxing.

I had a very positive experience this morning and that was not just because my concerns turned out to be unfounded.

Thank you very much to everyone at the Mermaid center in Truro.

Thank you very much for taking the time to post such a wonderful review of the Mermaid Centre at Royal Cornwall Hospital. I am delighted to hear that you felt reassured by their friendly and welcoming team at what was understandably a very anxious time for you.

I do hope that by sharing your positive patient experience on here, you will be able to alleviate some worries and concerns for any other patients that find themselves in similar circumstances and needing to attend the Mermaid Centre also.

I will of course be sharing your feedback and thanks with the team who would have been involved in looking after you throughout your appointment as I know they will be thrilled to receive it.
