The staff at Teehey Lane were extremely helpful not only in diagnosing mental health conditions, but also in their care and consideration during diagnosis, treatment and ongoing support. Dr Munir looked at my case objectively and was clear, patient and straightforward about the help I needed, even when I didn't at first see it myself. I'm so grateful to him for his quiet thoroughness: from the beginning, he saw a occupational health meeting would support me as well as medication and counselling. I was quite fragile at the beginning and felt uncomfortable talking to people, so Kate the receptionist ensured I could see Dr Munir every time during his stint (he was a locum doctor), and when he left for another practice, she kindly arranged a phone conversation then a meeting with a new doctor so that the transition wasn't too hard for me. Dr Manzoor has been incredibly thoughtful and kind. She makes you feel like she really cares about you as an individual. Having lived in several places in Liverpool before moving to the Wirral, I can easily say this practice is by far the best for its community/supportive feel. They have made what is a difficult and delicate process as painless as possible, and I am grateful to both the operational staff and the physicians for facilitating this.
