I had an unfortunate fall coming down from a 10 peak hike which resulted in me having a horrible deep gash on my kneecap requiring stitches.
I arrived at 6.30pm on Saturday evening and was greeted immediately with a friendly smile from the receptionist, I was a bit high on adrenaline at the time and she immediately put me at ease.
Within 2 mins I was lying down being cleaned up and reassured.
The nurse who treated me was also fantastic, did a brilliant job of cleaning out the wound and stitching me up despite my screaming and other funny noises I was making!
Cannot praise them enough, within hour an hour I was back out and able to carry on my lovely weekend in the lakes.
