"Communication has been poor"

About: Southmead Hospital / Dermatology

(as a relative),

I am sat here at this very moment awaiting a doctor to come see my partner who had surgery to remove a malignant tumour removed from his shoulder at 10am wed he has not seen a doctor since! Given that he had to wait 4mths for this operation and given he has stage 4 malignant melanoma I find this to be disgusting. Ever since his care was transferred to southmeads communication has been poor on a scale of 1-10 I give it a 1.

Dear Miss Angry,

I am sorry that communication with your partner has been so poor since his care has been transferred to Southmead Hospital. Clearly, this is not the level of service that we would wish to provide, and I apologise that this has been case.

If you would like to contact us with your partner's details, then we will contact the ward to ensure that a doctor does come to speak with him, so that he has a full update of his care.
