I have just attended my last appointment at The Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre after having an Unicompartmental Knee Replacement Severn weeks ago.
The Consultant and his team performed the procedure and I saw the great man three times.
Dismissed by the Physiotherapist at my last appointment this week and what a bright, helpful, informative, and charming woman.
When attending my pre-meds the staff were friendly and informative I saw two nurses, one Physiotherapist and Consultant, all extremely efficient and professional. A very good start.
I was admitted with a smile at reception early morning with five other patients in one day room.
The staff nurse answered our questions with charm and efficiency, like all the nursing staff, the anaesthetist (very funny), also the two pre-op/theatre staff who made me relaxed and feel less nervous were lovely, not to mention the recovery nursing staff who were chatty and kept me informed.
Then the physiotherapist, who was great with the sticks, and strict with the rest (thank you).
All five patients seemed to have a different medical team assigned to them so it was very busy, but remained professional, caring and efficient.
Thank you all, a huge relief for me and hopefully a pain free future.
"Great Care"
