"I'm glad I had the hysteroscopy done"

After reading all the horror stories about having this procedure I was absolutely petrified. But need not of worried yes it was uncomfortable and am suffering what I can only describe as bad period pains. The Consultant at Princess Ann Hospital Southampton was very understanding and said I could come back and have a general anaesthetic if I wanted but I decided to go ahead with out any or sedation as just wanted to know what was going on. He said if it got too painfull at any time he would stop He was very gentle and it was over with in a matter of minutes. Ok so I looked kinda weird trying to walk after but im glad I had it done and its over with. Thankfully I have been given the all clear. Also really weird looking at my insides on the screen
