"They treat you like a human being"

About: Renacres Hospital

I've had more hospital admissions than a woman my age should, and it's never usually a great experience. Overworked NHS staff often treat patients with impatience and an air of irritation in depressing surroundings.

Renacres was a completely different experience from start to finish.

At my arrival, I was greeted with a smile and a warm welcome.

I was admitted swiftly and efficiently by a wonderful nurse who was on hand to make me feel like I was her only patient all day long. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble.

The private room was immaculate and more like a hotel room, with Wi-Fi and a big screen tv.

When I was taken down for surgery, the anaesthetists were friendly and happy and very kind.

After surgery, the nurse did everything she could to make me feel comfortable.

Being discharged was as efficient as admission, and I was fully informed of everything I needed to know.

Thank you!
