Some of the staff here are wonderful I.e. The nurses and one doctor who is an a outstanding GP. However, getting through to arrange an appointment is a nightmare. To that extent I suppose it's good they are no longer taking new patients. The doctor who last saw me was rude and abrupt after I had chest pains, saying I should have gone to A&E as it was a waste of time seeing them so long after the event. Heavens we are constantly told to stay out of A&E unless you are critical. Add to that I said I tried to get to see my GP on the morning it happened but was told by their reception staff it was 3 weeks for an appointment. Clearly their reception staff were none the wiser than me that I should have gone to A&E. They have an ECG machine in the surgery so they could have done the test. The worst aspect though was the doctor didn't ask my family history. My grandfather did of a heart attack, my elder sister a hole in her heart and died and my mother had a pacemaker.
