I visited for a maternity refresher class. I only booked one class because during my previous pregnancy the lady running the classes had been too sarcastic for my liking. It was the same person. She very clearly said that "for all those of you who have had to wean at 6 months, the advice has now changed back to 4 months"? She then went on about how advice changes and rolled her eyes a lot. I started weaning my daughter at 4 months. My health visitor was furious. She wasn't interested that I'd been told this at the hospital so I thought I'd mention it myself. I can assure you that I didn't misunderstand what the class was told as we all had a big discussion about in the class following the nurses comments. Why are expectant mums being given false information?
