What I liked

Almost all the staff who dealt with us were polite, friendly, re-assuring. This is in stark contrast to what we have come to expect from our local NHS services. Well done Mount Vernon - you have got this aspect of care spot on. Every time we asked a question or wanted anything we were treated with respect and courtesy. Nothing was too much trouble.

What could be improved

Visible handwashing - very little of this going on, staff tending to use gloves as an infection control method.

The waiting around.

Anything else?

A special thank you to all staff in the Chemo suite and Marie Curie Ward.
