At a recent appt I was given antibiotics for a chest infection, the gp requested I make an appt for a follow up one week later, on trying to do so was told to ring on the morning I required the appt, I was assured the gp I was asked to see would be available, after taking almost 15 minutes to get through on the phone I was told the gp was not in the surgery that day but I could travel to stanwix surgery a day later which I had already said wasn’t doable.
I was offered a different gp which I refused as each doctor tells you to do different things and I need consistency of care.
I have a number of chronic conditions and this one was causing me breathing problems, I do not know what I will do to get treatment, at this moment I am very angry!
