"Better than most"

I have been using Rosemary St. practice for around a year since Oaktree Lane surgery has been drastically reduced in its capacity.

Mostly I have been able to get appointments, either the same day, or on a "come and wait" basis, or by calling in before 8.00 ( they are open at about 07.00).

We need another category in the telephone access question above - "Eventually".

The doctors and clinicians have all been very helpful to me and my partner, and since turning 65 I cannot fault the extra care - aortic aneurysm scan, pneumonia inoculation, flu inoculation, innumerable blood tests etc.

The practice nurses do an excellent job in taking care of the less demanding ailments and minor ops that would occupy a doctor's time and the doctors are very caring and understanding.

Mostly appointments run near to time, although inevitably sometimes there are delays but far better than at some of the surgeries I have used in the past.

Overall I think that this is a well managed and well run practice.

Many of the reviews given seem to be quite old so perhaps things have improved lately. As usual, good reviews are quite few whilst bad reviews are to the fore. It seems that we are reluctant to praise good experiences whilst quick to criticize bad ones.
