Having been given an appointment for foot surgery at the hospital, I was concerned to see that it had been put into special measures due to poor performance. Nothing could have been further from the truth.
The system for booking in was faultless. I was kept fully informed as to procedures to follow in great detail, I was then taken into the pre-op room for anaesthetic. Next thing I knew I was in recovery. From there I was taken to a single room on Denton Ward. That evening Mr Loveday came to see me and explain how well the operation went. Again the care and attention to detail was amazing, anything l asked about or needed was dealt with promptly.
The food was another surprise, you always hear stories about poor hospital food but I found it of very good quality and a surprisingly good choice. The next morning another consultant came in to check me over, all was ok. I was discharged the following day after only 36 hrs. Once again thank you for the exceptional care I received.
Regards.
