What I liked
I spent 4 days on ward 30 following an emergancy operation to remove a ruptured fallopean tube and ectopic pregnancy. As I was admitted by ambulance, it was quite sudden and frightening for me and my partner. My life was undoubtedly saved thanks to a very quick diagnosis and admission to theatre to halt the extensive internal bleeding that I had been suffereing without realising. The staff were wonderful, kind and caring and took time to talk me through what was happening and how I might be feeling both physically and emotionally.
There was always a member of the nursing staff on hand day or night to assist me and I felt that they really cared about my recovery. I can not speak more highly of all the healthcare professionals that I dealt with during my stay.
What could be improved
I dont feel that there was any element of my care that could have been improved. Every aspect was brilliant and all follow up appoitments have been issued on time and exactly when promised.
Anything else?
The staff made what could have been a very harrowing experience for me feel much more bearable. As a result I have felt able to move forwards positively towards full health. I can not thank them all enough.
"The highest quality care possible."
