About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Gynaecology

(as a service user),

My appointment was at 11am and was not taken until after 3pm.   I have arthritis and am in constant pain which was worse after sitting waiting to be taken, this lasted several days.

Dear FLINDERZ

I am so sorry to hear that you had such a long wait at the gynaecology clinic. Normally when there are delays staff keep our ladies updated and offer support if needed. This would appear not to have been the case in your situation.

A wait of 4 hours is totally unacceptable therefore if you would be happy to contact me and give more detail I will investigate what went wrong causing you such distress.

In the mean time I will share your posting to ensure this does not happen again.

I hope that your pain has now settled and that you will be happy to contact me on the details below.
