"Very helpful and extremely patient staff."

What I liked

I transferred to RHCH very late in my pregnancy and having read some of the negative comments here about post-natal care I must admit to being concerned about moving.

However, the nurses and midwives on the post-natal ward could not have been more helpful! Having had a somewhat traumatic birth I then encountered difficulties establishing feeding and consequently stayed in hospital for a couple of days longer than I would have otherwise.

The staff were fantastic - they were very helpful and patient (even in the middle of the night) and also found us our own room so that we could have more privacy (so we didn't need to spend all day sat behind a curtain on the main ward!)

The only criticism I could possibly have is that the food wasn't great - but I don't think anyone has high expectations of hospital grub!
