Visited Day care surgery unit for a carpal tunnel operation. From the moment I was greeted by the receptionist, to the nurses who cared for me so kindly through to the awesome professional and friendly (and wonderfully funny) consultant and operating staff - I genuinely felt that a) I mattered and b) I was in a professional, friendly and clean department of the hospital. Nothing was too much trouble (I am disabled so required a wheelchair as my mobility scooter wasn’t suitable, and one was brought to me without a huff or tut - wonderful) and the whole procedure from arrival to discharge was carried out in a smooth, well-oiled fashion. I highly recommend this unit and feel that it is somewhere you can trust to ensure your procedure will be carried out most efficiently and professionally with humour and friendliness.
